Having a strong passion for technology, I attended BETT 2016 at Excel London, an exhibition showcasing the world of technology in education. It was a unique experience lasting 4 days of world class content in education technology, innovations and inspiration.
It was a pleasure to meet some of the key companies involved in education technology including Intel, Microsoft & Google for Education. I also made some cool friends, Brain Pop and the BT Friendly bear!

I was lucky enough to be selected by the Google team to attend the Google Cardboard Virtual Reality demo, and what an awesome experience it was! From floating into space and seeing Earth and Milky way, to diving with turtles in the coral reef and then mountain climbing in Colorado to walking in the Royal Halls of Buckingham Palace!
Attending Bett made me realise how much impact technology is having and how it is being used in education through learning and teaching. After seeing and experimenting with all the latest technology, Virtual Reality, Interactive Whiteboards and 3D printing, I really wish I was a kid again!
